Product Review: Maybelline's White Super UV Cake Foundation

I am not fond of using powder foundations because it does not last long compared to a liquid foundation. I am curious when I learned from Maybelline that this powder foundation can last up to 12 hours. If this is true then it will be a great addition to my makeup regimen that I can use everyday at work because my shift is 8 hours and add the travel time of at least two hours, that is at least 10 hours a day without retouching my makeup. It will really be convenient for me. 

As I tested the Fresh Test in the event, I knew that this powder will not make my skin oily. As it will be absorbed by the powder. This in turn will make my skin look fresh.

There are four shades available namely Light, Nude Beige, Natural and Honey. Let me now share my thoughts on my new White Super Fresh UV Cake Foundation in Nude Beige (02).

How To Use: Apply evenly with sponge all over face and neck. Suitable for everyday use. No need for wet usage as the coverage is already perfect for dry usage.

SWATCHES:

On my hand, the powder does not look like my shade but look how it blended on my face well after application on the photos below. I took a photo of myself without wearing anything on my face. After that I took a shot with me wearing White Super Fresh UV Cake Foundation on half of my face. In that photo check how the shade is not that far from my skin tone, you can also see that it brightened my face and it did lighten the dark circles under my eye. It did not cover my moles but my blemishes is barely seen.

I look pale when I finished applying the powder all over my face. It was easily remedied with a blush on and a nice shade of lipstick. I did not put anything else aside from the blush and lipstick. I love how it turned out, my face looks fresh and natural like I am not wearing makeup.

Now let us see on how the powder fared in my 8 hour shift at work. I took two photos, one photo is halfway of my shift and the other one is after my duty. I did not retouch anything just to completely test it. My makeup still looks fresh and I am not oily even after 4 hours of working straight. At the end of my shift, my forehead is not as covered by the powder as well as the dark circles under my eyes. Although if you compare the powder against my blush on, my powder and lipstick survived longer! For me, the result is great! I may look horrendous (probably from a busy day) at the end of my shift but I still look fresh this time.
