Ever since I tried and loved the CosRX Acne Pimple Master Patch, I wanted to try out all of their products. Since I emptied my current facial wash, I decided to try the CosRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser.

Pros:

The first thing that I loved about this facial cleanser is the Tea Tree scent. It feels refreshing and clean.

I like that the cleanser is foamy and easy to lather on skin. It does not leave any residual too and it is easy to wash off.

My skin feels squeaky clean after use. I definitely noticed a soft, smooth, and clearer skin though it did not lighten any blemishes. The stated dryness from the packaging or what others experienced is not that alarming in my case. Actually, I felt like it did not dried out my skin like how it claims to be. Yes it is dry but not "bad" dry if you get what I mean. It was like the oil was just removed after a typical post-washing of face with a cleanser. Though I do have a combination type of skin so maybe that is why it does not dry out much but if you have a dry skin you might want to try this with caution first.

No irritation, sting or stretching of the skin felt while and after use. It is true to its claim that it is a gentle facial cleanser.

Even though it contains salicylic acid, it did not prevent some of my pimple in forming BUT it was able to minimize its growth and accelerated the drying of my pimples. Hence, faster healing of acne.

For a facial cleanser, it is paraben free and alcohol free.

Cons:

It can cause dryness specially if you are already using other anti-acne products. However, you should expect it as it was already stated by CosRX. In my case though, it did not cause too much dryness. :)

Contraindicated to people with allergy to Aspirin. Why contraindicated? Because Salicylates are chemicals derived from plants which are commonly used in pain relievers such as Aspirin. This cleanser also contains increased amount of Salicylates that is why if you are allergic to Aspirin, you might be allergic to this too. It can cause anaphylactic reaction like rashes, difficulty of breathing that if left untreated, it may cause complications. So if you have doubts in allergic reaction, consult with your doctor first before using.

Expensive for a daily cleanser.
