PRODUCT REVIEW: MAYBELLINE'S DEFINE AND BLEND BROW PENCILS
Hello Beauties! I promised to all of you that I will be reviewing all of these new eyebrow pencils by Maybelline once I got the package and here it is!
This entire new line of Define and Blend Brow Pencils is Liza Soberano's favorite according to Maybelline from my previous post about this incoming products.

Pros:
Brow pencil that does not need a sharpener! Yay!!! Let us rejoice, I admit I am not that keen in using products that needs sharpening that is why I usually use liquid eye liners too.
It is easy to use and apply. I have a coarse eyebrows but this one is easy to build up. No problem if you have a sparse eyebrows because this pencil can be build up to your preference.
On the other side of the pencil is a spoolie. The size is just right for blending the pencil into your brows. The bristles are not too soft nor too hard.
This pencil actually reminded me of Etude's Drawing Eye Pencil.
It has a decent lasting power, it managed to survive my 8 hours shift at work with slight fading but it is not waterproof.
Affordable for only 249php!
Cons:
I noticed that the pencil is soft and easily breaks so be careful with the pressure that you use when applying it. Thankfully, it only happened to the shade Red Brown that I have while I was using it.
SWATCHES:
LIGHT BROWN
The light brown works on my skin tone but it is too much light that I needed to build up the color to reach the intensity that I wanted. It looks nice on me but I think the pencil will last faster than I wanted to because I have to apply more strokes than the usual pencils.
If you have a dyed hair in lighter shade, you may want to pick this shade first.
NATURAL BROWN
The natural brown is more pigmented than I expected but this one suits my skin better than the light brown. The color is rich and does not need to be build up.
GREY BROWN
The Grey Brown is too dark for my skin tone. Even if I used it lightly, it looks so pronounced. It looks similar to Natural Brown but this is more pigmented.
RED BROWN
Ever since I tried the Red Brown Pomade by Project Vanity X Ellana Cosmetics, I appreciated the shade Red Brown. Why? Because this shade is not too light nor too dark. It blends well with my hair color too. So this is also my choice besides the Natural Brown.
There, I hope you find the swatches and sample of wearing helpful for you to see the difference. If I will buy again, I will definitely get the shades Natural Brown and Red Brown.

Overall Rating: 4/5 (I would give it a five if it stays longer and does not easily break.)
