Laneige: Water Sleeping Mask (Lavender)

PRODUCT REVIEW: LANEIGE'S WATER SLEEPING MASK IN LAVENDER

Staying inside our home most of my days because I avoid going outside, I was able to efficiently use my skincare products more. That is when I noticed that I have this Laneige Water Sleeping Mask in my stash that is near expiry by the end of 2021 and I decided to try it now. :)

I forgot on how I had this on my stash but I think it came from one of my Althea boxes. There are two versions of this Water Sleeping Mask - the original and the one with Lavender. Of course, I had to choose the one with Lavender because it is one of my favorite scents.

This is the second time that I try a sleeping mask, I used to use Shiseido's Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask which is rich in Vitamin C. Now, let us see why this Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is famous in Korea!

Pros:

Just like the Shiseido Sleeping Mask, this Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is also lightweight. It is non-sticky that I did not have a hard time spreading the mask on my skin.

Laneige's version of sleeping mask comes with Sleep-Tox technology that helps in purifying the skin while you sleep. It also has a Moisture-Wrap Technology that keeps skin moisturized during sleep and increases absorption of active substances. Last, the Sleepscent which is developed exclusively by Laneige. It provides a pleasant, comforting and relaxing effect and for this version - the Lavender has its own soothing properties.

I can definitely appreciate the fragrance of Lavender infused on this tub however since I haven't tried the original version, I cannot compare the difference of the scent. The lavender adds a relaxation mood for me whenever I use this.

I apply the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask as the final product on my skincare routine. It was able to lock in the moisture without making my skin feel greasy after applying tons of products layer by layer.

My skin feels soft, hydrated, and smooth in the morning but other than that I do not see any other perks from using this product. Unlike the Shiseido Ibuki, I noticed that my skin has a glow from each use.

Still, this is a cheaper and great alternative if you are just aiming for hydration.

Last, it comes with a spatula for hygienic purposes! Not all moisturizers comes with a spatula.

For this product, I did not experience any breakouts or allergies.
