PRODUCT REVIEW: MAC'S MAINE MENDOZA LIPSTICKS
This is the second time that the favorite star from GMA, Ms. Maine Mendoza collaborated with MAC Cosmetics for a lipstick. The first one is the nude shade, you can read my review and see the swatches here.
For this batch, Maine created a red lipstick with corresponding lip glass. From a daily look of nude to a daring red.

Maine is the only influencer who got a second MAC feature. Everyone expected that she will release a red shade on her first launch because she always wore MAC's Ruby Woo in her shows. In contrary to what the fans expected, she explained that the first one product that she wanted to release is a shade that resembles the real her.
Now, on her second release. She flaunted a fierce red color just as the fans first expected! Even though it is a dark red, it suited my complexion. But I am not comfortable in wearing it in mornings specially if I am at the hospital. LOL. My patients might think that I am off to a party. LOL. This shade is best used on gatherings or night outs.
I liked the packaging that it came with as gold casing. Very classy.
I now prefer this red lipstick over MAC's Ruby Woo because of the creamier finish.
I tried comparing it to my other red lipsticks here at home and I saw that it is close to Tom Ford's Velvet Cherry Lipstick! It is a nice dupe for that! For the drugstore brand, MAC's @mainedcm is close to Maybelline's Divine Wine and Midnight Date. :)
For a lip glass of MAC, this is highly pigmented! I was never a fan of MAC Lip glass but the texture of this one is quire different and more comfortable. It is not heavy nor thick. But I prefer wearing the lip glass over the lipstick than wearing it alone.
Both the lipstick and lip glass left a stain on my lips after removal.
Cons:
It is not transfer-proof. In fact, it easily stains my utensils and tissue for a matte lipstick.
