PRODUCT REVIEW: COSRX ACNE PIMPLE MASTER PATCH
Back in the days, I was not impressed with the power of pimple patches because I never seen them effective on my skin. I tried a couple of drug store brands but both failed to do its job on me. I never bought one again, I used spot gels or creams instead. After seeing great recommendations for the CosRx Acne Pimple Master Patch, I decided to give it a shot. One last time...
This CosRx is a brand from Korea and somehow I wished that it will work because Korea is known for creating outstanding skincare products. Without further chit-chat, let us now look more closely.

Since the patch is hydrocolloid in nature, it feels natural and barely visible. The texture is smooth and thin that I did not feel any weight or irritation that I am wearing something on my skin.
The patches are available in different sizes (small, medium, and large)! I can freely choose the size that applies to my acne. No need to waste a bunch of large patches for small ones like the other drug store brands that I was able to use in the past.
I will now re-state my words that I AM NOW A BELIEVER FOR PIMPLE PATCHES! I tried it while I have a fresh pimple spot. I took a photo before I applied the patch. My before photo if you can see is red, irritated with a little swelling. A white pus also started to form inside the pimple. (Sorry for the gruesome details.) I immediately applied the patch in medium size.
Leaving it on overnight, I am happy that it did not fell off during my sleep. The patch is attached to my skin with good intact. With the previous drug store brand patches that I used, I usually see it attached on my pillow or clothes upon waking up.
With the CosRx in good attachment to my skin while I slept for about six to eight hours, I knew that my skin was exposed under the patch for at least in a prolonged time. Upon waking up, I noticed that there is a white discharge inside that patch. It was able to pop my pimple without any effort from me! I just used the patch alone overnight!
The "after" photo was taken after I removed the patch and washed my face. If you can see from the photo, my pimple became small, no redness and swelling noted! The white pus was gone and it attached to the patch.
I just found my holygrail in CosRx Acne Pimple Master Patches and I cannot wait to try their other variant that can be used under makeup, the CosRx Clear Fit Master Patch. I am so glad to give it a shot because it is so worth it!

I just noticed that if the pimple does not have a white pus yet, it is not that effective in making the pimple dry. I suggest that you use this if you have a fresh acne.
