MY 2017 MAKEUP PRODUCT FAVORITES
After posting my 2017 Skincare product favorites, let me now share my 2017 makeup favorites! There are a lot of makeups released for the year 2017 or just started trending in. I literally had a hard time choosing my favorites! Anyway, let me break it down for you.
I never knew I could level up my eye shadow skills with the simple use of this Flormar Khol Kajal Black Liner, I use it almost everyday and will always be in my list of must-haves - I really recommend it! Thanks to Nikki's workshop (AMW Photography Makeup), I was able to learn how to use this well.
Contouring and strobing made easier! If you do not have a time for a clean and perfect contouring (like me!), this is the easiest solution. Just dab and blend, then your contouring and highlighting is done in an instant! I love this product from Cathy Doll - one of their original idea and best product!
The hype is real with this liquid foundation. It is my new holy grail for liquid foundation. My skin still looks natural but flawless. However, since this foundation is quite expensive, I reserve it for special occasions.
I am glad I was able to find my fit with Maybelline's wide array of liquid foundation shades, this one gives my skin a flawless finish and I prefer to use this on a daily basis specially since it is affordable.
If you follow me on my Instagram stories, I am sure you saw me always raving about this nude/beige gel eye liner. I am just sad that this is a limited edition, I hope Maybelline will release something like this nude/beige gel eye liner as a permanent product.
The best black liquid liner from Maybelline for me. Though it is very similar to their permanent Hypersharp Black Liquid Liner but I just find this more long-lasting and more pigmented.
Even though this palette is for smoky eyes look, it still have the nudes and brown shades that are perfect to be used for everyday makeup look. From all the eye palettes of Cathy Doll, this one has the best pigmentation. For me, it is similar to Urban Decay's Naked 2 Palette. Check out my review and comparison.
This one is a limited edition highlighting palette and I am so happy when I received it as a gift from my sister-in-law last 2017! The fantasy girl inside me is jumping with joy!
9. Makeup Forever Brow Liner #20

10. Makeup Forever Palette
Makeup Forever Palette is a great investment, their powder pots are highly pigmented and you can choose what you want, whether you want an all blush palette, all contour palette or all highlighter palette in one casing. If not, you can always create your own contouring palette like what I did, I selected one of each from their blush, contour, and highlighter powders then I put it in one palette. It is perfect for on the go! Review soon!
This classic mascara even though it is not new from Maybelline is still an all time favorite. It still is the easiest and gentle mascara I love to use everyday.
My favorite line from Maybelline's lipstick types is the Powder Matte Lipsticks and my favorite shade is Mauve It Up. I did not realized then that I always use it among all the other lipsticks that I have.
