PRODUCT REVIEW: BIORE'S URU URU 2-IN-1 INSTANT FOAMING WASH

I am so glad to when I received a package from Vibelle and Biore with their new 2-in-1 Instant Foaming Wash. It came with a full size bottle of the foaming wash and a very cute pink polka-dot ribbon band for my hair - a perfect partner in washing my face.

Biore is a Japanese brand that excels in skincare formula that gives our skin the love that it needs. Their makeup removers, sunscreen, BB Creams all have formulas designed to be helpful in our skin too.

It will be my first time to try the Uru Uru 2-in-1 Instant Foaming Wash from Biore. I immediately tested it! I am now sharing with you my thoughts about it.

Brand: Biore

Type: Uru Uru 2-in-1 Instant Foaming Wash

Weight: 160ml

Product Description:

Ingredients:

How To Use:

Pros:

The bottle comes with a protective seal so there will be no incident for accidental spills. (Check photo below.)

The suggested use is 3 pumps but when I used it, two pumps are enough to lather my entire face. The two pumps that I used already cleaned my skin well.

The foam is soft and thick but it gently removed my makeup and my skin remained hydrated after cleansing. It removed the excess oil but did not cause dryness for my skin.

According to Biore, this Instant Foaming Wash can be used for all skin types especially for oily and combination skin.

The scent of the foam is sweet, reminded me of fruits and the fragrance remained on my skin.

This foaming wash is meant to be used as both a makeup remover for light makeup (powder, BB cream) and as a facial wash. It can be used both on dry or wet skin. I prefer to use it on wet skin though, as a facial wash.

I read some reviews and they did not find it effective in removing foundation and lipstick however I had a different experience. I used MAC Studio Fix foundation and a matte lipstick, the cleanser removed it well. (Check my photos below.)

For those lazy nights of usual routine of removing makeup first, this is a quick solution. I can save a lot of time by removing my makeup and at the same time cleansing my face.

Cons:

I tried using waterproof eyeliner and mascara just to test it well and that is where I found it hard to remove. I used a makeup remover to remove the waterproof eyeliner and mascara first before I cleansed my face with this wash.

There is a requirement that you should store the wash in a flat surface or at least before use so that the foam will be dispensed evenly.

The manufacturing date is indicated instead of expiration date, it is not really a problem but I find it better when the expiration date is posted. :)

SWATCH:

Makeup Used: MAC Studio Fix Liquid Foundation in NC20, MAC Retromatte Lipstick in Runway Hit, Urban Decay Naked on the Run Blush, BYS Eyebrow Powder, Celeteque Matte Powder.
