The scent of each liquid lipsticks smells like mint! I always wanted to try these liquid lipsticks and it is a good thing that it is available at Beauty By Freyja. The shades that I got are Doting, Dedicated, and Reliable.

Pros:

I really love the mint-like scent and cool feeling of the liquid lipstick when worn. I am used to liquid lipsticks feeling warm and heavy on lips but this The Balm's Meet Matte Hughes is really different in texture and feel.

The colors are highly pigmented! Plus, it dries quickly when applied, no need to wait for it to settle. Easy to apply and it does not feel sticky. It is true that the liquid lipstick stays matte upon application.

For a liquid lipstick, it transfers a little.

The included applicator is easy to use.

Cons:

Since it is a matte liquid lipstick, it is kind of hard to remove. Sometimes I feel like my lips are drier after use. Make sure to moisturize well after.

The lighter shade like Doting can be seen that it settles on the dry patches of my lips. Make sure to exfoliate before use. It accentuates the lip lines.
