My Goal To Cosplay

I always have this dream ever since I was first introduced to anime back when I was a child. I want to portray my favorite character. However, it is a very expensive hobby that is why I did not push anything related to cosplay.

This year though, my niece have this same drive as I do in terms of liking anime. She encouraged me that we should both try to do it at least once in a while. Now that I have a stable job, I thought that I should give it a try. This will be my first time to cosplay and my goal this 2015 is to portray Petra Ral of Shingeki No Kyojin (my latest anime and manga addiction).

Since I am a first-timer I am not willing yet to buy expensive costumes. I settle for second hand right now. So far, I already have the jacket, coat and upper body harness and leather wrap. I am still looking for the lower body harness as well as the boots. I also have the wig already. I think its easy to find a white polo and pants on malls and that is my next goal. 

I am having a hard time to look for a good 3DMG weapon because some sellers gives me as high as 6,000php for the gear. I just wanted to use it for a pictorial so I think 6000php is too much for me.
