PRODUCT REVIEW: POND'S DEWY ROSY GEL

Did you say Dewy? Then I'm in! Any product that can make my skin look dewy and fresh keeps me interested and I am always eager to try it. I envy other Asians specially Koreans that always look dewy and fresh without any heavy makeup. I want to achieve this pinkish glowing skin without the look of oily skin.

I am fortunate to be able to get this product before it was released fully in market through my BDJ Box. I got two 10g boxes of these inside my box. I already finished my first container and now I want to share with you my full product review.

Brand: Pond's

Type: Flawless White Dewy Rose Whitening Soft Gel

Weight: 10g

Product Description: Pond's Flawless White Dewy Rose Whitening Soft Gel. This ultra-light get easily absorbs into skin layers (within epidermis layer) to reduce dullness, lighten spots and soften skin. See dewy brightness, as it lit from within. Touch softness like a rose petal. Clinically tested. Apply all over face and neck after cleansing. Great for ally skin types.

The resilient Alpine rose blooms soft petals even in the high altitudes of the Swiss Alps due to its hydrating ability. Pond's institute uses advanced technology to combine precious Rose Lumiere complex with whitening GenActiv.

Warning: (From box) Store away from direct sunlight and heat. In case of any irritation, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.

Ingredients: Water(Aqua), Glycerin, Dimethicone, Alcohol Denat, Butylene Glycol, Isohexadecane, Propylene Glycol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Niacinamide, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Perfume, Titanium Dioxide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Hydrogenated Poly(C6-14 Olefin), Mica, DMDM Hydantoin, Linoleamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Stearic Acid, Silica, BHT, Disodium EDTA, Sodium PCA, Allantoin, Iodoproponyl Butylcarbamate, Rhododendron Ferugineum Extract, CI 14700

Pros:
> There is an expiration date posted under the container, not in the box. I am the kind of person that throws away boxes most of the time and I hate it when the expiration labels are posted on the box because I cannot throw the box away.
> It has a protection lid so the gel will not dried up or leak out of the container
> The gel is not greasy on skin (but most gel forms are)
> Infused with Rose Lumiere Serum that goes deep into skin to lighten dark spots and smoothen pores outside that is suppose to give rosy glow
> I can attest that my skin is not as dull before I use this product but I did not notice any dewy effect on my skin
> I noticed some lightening but not that evident. Evened out skin tone is much more appreciated on my skin with the use of this product
> Easy to apply and spread because it is slightly watery
> Easily absorbed and it has a powder-like feel on face

Cons:
> It has a strong scent of floral but I can live with the scent but it would be better if the scent is lighter
> It has no SPF so I cannot use it alone on days I need to go outside
> There is no dewy look after finishing one container
> Container is not full of gel inside
> One container of 10g lasted for 15 days for once a day use

  1. Same here. I prefer that expiration date is included in the bottle, not only in the box.

    1. I find it difficult when I have to keep the box because the expiration is stated there. Thank you for reading my post. :)

  2. I find it difficult that you had to keep the box just because you need to remember the expiration date. Thanks for reading my post! :)
