TRYING OUT THE AVON REVERSALIST FOR A WEEK
Hello guys! I know I am missing in action here in my blog and social media but I have been hectic lately in my preparation to migrate outside Philippines. I resigned from my work and all the last minute paperworks and all the preparations are making me hustle more than ever.
Even though I try out products during my busy days, I was not able to write an update on my blog. But now that I am free from work and just resting at home, I can now focus on writing again.
So I tried for the first time the Avon Reversalist Creams and Skin Reset Plumping Shots when I received the set from Avon. It feels like Avon was able to feel that I am in need of a good skincare routine during my hectic days.
Avon's Anew Reversalist offers revitalizing day and night cream. The Anew Reversalist line is Avon's best selling brand when it comes to skin care because it is designed for anti-aging. This line also offers facial wash, toner, eye serum, and serum but for today I will be sharing with you their Perfecting Day Cream and Revitalizing Cream.
ANEW REVERSALIST: PERFECTING DAY CREAM
The Perfecting Day Cream is a 50g jar (999php). The jar is elegant with wide opening. Surprisingly as a day cream, I was able to use this underneath my makeup. Usually I have problems in using creams underneath my makeup because it makes my makeup not last long. However for this day cream, it worked like a good base or primer since it is also light and non-greasy. Most specially since it has a sun protection of SPF25.
Texture is thicker compared to the night cream and is more similar to sun screens.
This is not an ordinary sunscreen day cream because it is also powered by Protinol that helps strengthen skin's matrix for a plumper, brighter, and smoother skin.

AVON ANEW REVERSALIST REVITALIZING CREAM
Anew Reversalist Revitalizing Cream Jar looks the same as the Day Cream however this jar looks translucent and glass. The jar is 50g (999php).
I love the revitalizing cream because the texture is thin like water that it was easily absorbed by my dry skin. It feels light and non-greasy on my skin.
The Revitalizing Cream helps reinforce multiple-wrinkle related proteins by PMOT technology. Since it is also powered by Protinol, it helps strengthen skin matrix faster that it makes skin look plump, brighter and smoother. According to Avon, it can also visibly reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

ANEW SKIN RESET PLUMPING SHOTS
First, I was really amazed by the packaging of their serums called Plumping Shots. It greatly reminded me of the medicine ampoules that we use at work. The difference with this one though, is that it is for the skin and easier to break open since it is like plastic compared to the regular glass medicine ampoules. LOL...if only you can imagine how hard it is to break some medicine ampoules specially during emergencies.
I feel nostalgic in using this because I feel like I am working but not for patients, but for myself - for my skin.
Anyway, back to the main topic...the serum looks concentrated and color light blue. I used this for seven days straight and even for just the first few nights, I saw visible results on my skin.
It is called a Reset Plumping Shots because it was designed to show results in just 7 days of use that you can do once monthly! This works like a booster on your regular skin care routine that is best used at night before you apply your creams. During the time that you are using this for seven days, you can stop using your serum during those nights because this shot is already potent and enough.
Using this on my skincare routine, I noticed a plumping of my skin specially on the cheek area. My pores seems smaller too! I was amazed on how fast this 7 day shots worked on my skin!
Each ampoule contains 1.3 ml. (7 ampoules set is 1299php) It seems lacking for a 1.3 ml but I was able to spread it thinly over my face and neck!

You might not appreciate the photos because of the slight lighting difference. I will note the ones that I visibly noticed after 7 days of straight:
1. My skin discolorations evened out.
2. My cheecks became plumper!
3. The oil in my T-zone area became more controlled while hydrating the other parts of my skin.
4. My eyebags are not that pronounced and the dark circles lightened.
5. My pores are smaller.
6. Dullness improved to more brighter skin.
7. Most of all, my skin feels supple and smooth!
I am sure that continuing to use it for more than 7 days will show more visible improvements. Overall, in terms of hydration, my skin felt more hydrated however I have a normal to combination skin type. I think if your skin is really dry, you need to add more source of hydration on top of this routine. Still, I love how fast the products worked on my skin.
