Pop Studio: Moisturizing Primer (Intro 01)

PRODUCT REVIEW: POP STUDIO'S MOISTURIZING PRIMER (INTRO 01)

When the Pop Studio cosmetics was launched, I was able to get the whole Pop Album Set to try on but it does not include some of the products that looked nice. Just like this Pop Studio's Moisturizing Primer. That is why I bought one. (Together with the lipstick shade 5 and the highlighter that I will review in a separate time.)

For me, primers are important in a makeup routine and that is why I am usually picky in using one. Shall we review this one and see if it is nice? If you are interested, read more below.

Product Description: (From Beauty Beat's website) This primer-for-all hydrates and moisturizes, making skin healthier and more supple. Slight color correction erases the signs of fatigue and aging, all while allowing makeup to go on smoothly and last longer. This is the only primer your skin needs.

Ingredients: Aqua, Silicone, Propylene, Glycol, Isododecane, Cyclopentasiloxane, Mineral Oil, 2-Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Cera Alba, Caprylyl Glycol (and) Caprylhydroxamic Acid (and) Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, May contain (For colorant) Iron Oxide Black, Iron Oxide Yellow, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide Red

Pros:

For a primer, it was able to make my pores looked smaller and flawless. (See photo below.)

If you are a fan of dewy look, this primer gives a little glow to the skin.

Makeup application over the primer is smooth but not as smooth as other brands that I was able to try.

Most affordable primer that I encountered so far for only 199php.

Cons:

The cream is too thick and hard to spread on skin. I used more than the usual amount in primers to be able to cover most of my skin.

Since it has a moisturizing properties, my makeup showed signs of fading after three to four hours and I felt a little oily. So if you are prone to oily skin, I suggest that you use a matte primer instead.

It has a sticky feel to the skin.

Last, it has a weird waxy scent.
