Foreo: Luna Play Plus Experience

PRODUCT REVIEW: FOREO LUNA PLAY PLUS

Lately, I have been more obsessed with my skin over makeup. I am keen in trying out different products and even gadgets like this Foreo Luna Play Plus if it can helped improve my aging skin.

This is my second Foreo device (My review for my first one is still pending.) and I would love to get the Luna Go or Luna 2 but the price is so extreme. So I settled with the cleansing device by Foreo that is cheapest and this is the Luna Play Plus.

To pair it with my first Foreo device, I bought the Fuchsia color. So what is Foreo Luna Play Plus? It is a waterproof facial cleansing device that channels T-Sonic pulsations through soft silicone touch-points for deep and gentle cleansing.

According to Foreo, this is bigger than Luna Play with longer bristles for an extra deep clean and replaceable batteries for a longer life. It has two kinds of bristles, the thicker touch-points deeply and precisely cleanser oilier skin specially on T-zone while the thinner touch-points gently channel pulsation, suitable for sensitive or dry skin.

Pros:

Among all the cleansing devices that I have used, this one has the most gentle T-sonic pulsations and yet effective in removing my dead skin cells and dirt. My skin felt smoother, brighter, and softer after use, no makeup residue or oil left.

The bristles are also softest among the devices that I tried for a silicone so it is real that it is non-abrasive.

This device is allowed to be use once to twice a day but when I tried that, my skin developed oiliness throughout the day. I guess it became so clean that it produced more oil than usual so I opted to use it once a day only and at night. My advice is to try it first and let yourself feel on what is best for you, to be used once or twice a day.

The Luna Play Plus comes in many colors that can fit your personality. Actually, all the colors are so nice that I had a hard time picking out the one that I will be getting that is why I decided to choose the color that will pair it with my first Foreo device.

The size is perfect for me, it is easy to hold because it fits my palm snugly. Plus, it is easier to bring it along with me when I travel.

The intensity of pulsations cannot be adjusted but it is fine with me, it already delivers 8000 pulses per minute that is still effective in cleaning and massaging my skin.

No need to replace brush heads for a cleansing device making it more economical. Silicone does not harbor bacteria like other brushes so it will still be hygienic enough. Since it is made with silicone, it is also easier to clean and wash, Foreo also sells silicone cleansing formula.

Cons:

I wish instead of batteries, it will be rechargeable. I hate the idea that I had to use a tool to remove the screws in order to replace the batteries. Since it is battery operated, you need to take care of the screws so that it will not form rusts. Make sure to dry your device specially on the bottom part after each use.

The intensity of the pulsations cannot be controlled. Though I do not mind because the pulsations are gentle and enough for me. To others though, this may be a problem.

Expensive for a cleansing device but this will last long!
