PRODUCT REVIEW: CATHY DOLL'S LIQUID LIP MATTE IN TRUE BROWN
Dark lipsticks are trending nowadays and more people now feel comfortable in wearing one even during day time. I just wish that my work will be more welcoming. The last time that I wore a dark red lipstick with a hint of brown (Colourpop's Lax), I got scolded by the supervisor on duty. I never dared to use a dark shade of lipstick again at work.
Anyway, after giving the Colourpop Lax to my sister, this Cathy Doll True Brown now is the darkest lipstick in my collection. This lipstick color is definitely wearable even though it is dark!

It has a unique and charming packaging! I can see what shade the lipstick from the bottom of the casing.
Do not be scared to wear this shade because even though it is chromatic, it can make you look fierce!
I promise you, their liquid lipstick is highly pigmented that one layer of application is enough to color my lips!
From my experience in using it at work, I did not re-touch for 8 hours unless I eat a heavy meals and oily food. It was not fully removed through eating but it did lighten unevenly on the center of the lips, hence the need to re-touch.
I love how it feels on my lips over Coloupop because it did not form any powdery residues. Plus, it lasts long and not that drying.
Since it is waterproof, it takes an effort to be removed. I tried using water and soap, it does not budge. I need to use a makeup remover to remove it completely.
It does not build up on lip lines or dry patches of my lips.
The doe-foot applicator can precisely apply the lipstick even on inner corners of the mouth.
Affordable for only 399php each!
Cons:
I noticed that it feels a little warm upon application. It feels a little dry but it is expected from matte lipsticks specially if liquid.
Do not attempt to put a second layer, it looks better with one layer. You can see the difference of the layers if applied separately.
The lipstick enhanced my lip lines.
