BANILA CO. FRESH FROM SOUTH KOREA IS FINALLY IN THE PHILIPPINES!
I love Korean brands because they are safe for the skin, they have a good quality for cosmetics in a affordable price and mostly because they always have that cute packaging that it hard to resist!
I attended Banila Co.'s Media Launch last November 25, 2015 at Marco Polo Hotel, Ortigas Manila. The brand is to launch Banila Co. as the Number 1 Base Makeup Brand in the Asian Beauty. I am so thankful that the traffic is not extreme and I make it just in time from my morning shift at the Hospital.
Let me now give you a quick background, Banila Co. is a multi-awarded Korean cosmetics in the field of base makeup. Each of their product contains ingredients that are safe and mostly beneficial for our skin. They are known to create the famous Korean look that we all love of having that glowing skin or better known as a look that is "Lit From Within".
When I arrived there, they are already serving plates from their delectable menu. While waiting for my food to be served, I enjoyed going around the activities that Banila Co. prepared for the guests.
The whole set up of the Ballroom Area is made in pink shades (my favorite color!) from balloons to backdrops and table set ups! Everything is sweet and nice.
Of course, I have to check out the products that Banila Co. has in store for us. That is what I am most excited about - a new prospect for my makeup collection! Banila Co.'s cosmetic line is already complete from their primers, foundations, gel eyeliners, CC Creams, Makeup cleansers that is already used by the most prestigious beauty arbiters in the industry for its prestige quality, creative packaging, and disruptive innovation.
One of the items that caught my eyes is the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm that captivated Korean Beauty enthusiasts with the rate of 1 cleanser for every 4.8 seconds being sold.
I saw the demo and observe how effective the Clean It Zero, no wonder it is one of the Korean's favorite cleanser!
The next item I am very curious to try is the Prime Primer with its silky smooth texture and its potent ability to minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines that is also adjudged by Get It Beauty (Korean Cable Program that reviews best cosmetic products in the market) as the best primer in the industry.
Next is their Radiant CC Cream that has been the bestselling CC Cream in Korea for 3 years running. It is the first and only water-based CC Cream in the market. I love water-based products because it feels gentle and light for my skin.
Banila Co. is already a one stop shop, I can find anything that I may need on my makeup collection and skincare here. I am happy that it is finally in the Philippines.
In the event, I was able to check out their huge collection of Tinted Loves. It is displayed on a cute two tier plates. The shades are in natural colors that is easy to pass off as natural looking lips like pinks, oranges and light red hues.
I enjoyed taking photos on their studio boxes. I feel like a Barbie doll that is still inside its packaging.
Now that I am done checking out the activities, I am already ready to eat while waiting for the event to start. I can't wait to indulge on the sweet treat.
The salad green leaves are fresh topped with smoked salmon. The pasta and breaded pork are appetizing.
The mouth-watering treat... Chocolate Swiss Tart with Rasberries with vanilla ice cream on top. The flavor is not too sweet, it is a great combination between chocolate and berries. I hope I can make this kind of recipe too!
Back to the main program. Ms. Sam Oh, the host for the day, started the program by calling Banila Co.'s CEO to the stage for the opening remarks.
Mr. Chang Soo Kim, Banila Co.'s CEO, opened the program by thanking everyone in supporting their brand. From its humble beginnings in 2005, Banila Co., has grown rapidly in Korea and now has become the second best-performing Korean Cosmetics brand in China. It now focuses its attention to South East Asia, headlined by concurrent launches in the Philippines and Taiwan. Subsequent launches in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand are earmarked for 2016. Banila Co opened its fist store in Glorieta 4 last November 14. It will soon open its doors Robinson's Place Manila and other prime malls in Metro Manila and key provinces.
The launch was also graced by Banila Co. CEO Mr Chang Soo Kim, Chief Makeup Artist Mr. Kangpil Kim, and Managing Directors Cathryn and Jon Lim of All That Blush Trading Inc.
I am lucky to witness Mr. Kangpil in action as he demonstrated a "No Makeup Makeup Look" and the "Glamorous Look". I now have a new technique to practice on my daily routine.
