Celeteque DermoCosmetics: Cherry Matte Lipstick

PRODUCT REVIEW: CELETEQUE DERMOCOSMETICS' CHERRY MATTE LIPSTICK

Yay! Another variety of matte lipsticks launched by Celeteque that we can enjoy. I love matte lipsticks compared to sheer ones because the colors are bolder. Just the way I like it. I got this lipstick from their product launch last October 9, 2015.

In contrary to being a matte lipstick, Celeteque made this lipstick still moisturizing. There are three shades released by Celeteque and this is the color that I got. Let us now check it out Celeteque's Cherry Matte Lipstick.

Pros:

The lipstick, Cherry, has a color that pops! Its pinkish shade color on the stick is what is also the color it produces when applied. One layer to two layers is enough to fully coat the lips and I still got the opaqueness that I wanted.

When I tested this lipstick, it glides on smoothly without tugging when applied directly on lips without any primers or lip balms. I noticed that it really lasted long, for at least 6 hours without re-touching. After I ate a heavy meal, the color just lightened that re-touching is not that needed unless you want to keep it bright.

It contains Vitamin E and Bisabolol known to nourish the lips.

Cons:

For a matte lipstick, I knew that it will make my lips dry. Even though it contains Vitamin E and Bisabolol, it still made my lips a little dry though not as bad compared to other matte lipsticks that I used.

It settled on dry patches on my lips. I suggest that you exfoliate your lips first before using this lipstick. (Check out my photo below.) I tried applying it over a lip primer to lessen the effect of the lipstick settling on dry patches of my lips but it did not blend well with the primer. The color did not stick to the primer. I had a hard time applying it over the lip primer that I decided to ditch the primer and apply it directly to my lips instead which really made it easier and smoother to glide on my lips.

The lipstick weighs less than the usual amount of a regular lipstick.
