PRODUCT REVIEW: POND'S WHITE BEAUTY PEARL CLEANSING GEL

I feel lucky to be part of the product launching of Pond's in collaboration with Sample Room. I got two samples of the new Pond's White Beauty Cleansing Gel from the event. For the whole coverage of the event, read it from the link here. 

Most facial washes are usually in cream or liquid so I am intrigued to try this new cleansing gel from Pond's. Pond's new White Beauty Pearl Cleansing Gel is the first whitening product in gel form. The formulation of gel cleanses without drying compared to other facial wash. How? Gel forms are easily absorbed and it is gentle on skin. It has a sensory feel that addresses tight and dry feeling every after wash leaving the skin soft and smooth.

This season, Pond's introduced their breakthrough that can be added to our usual beauty regimen. The Pond's Cleansing Gel contains Pearl Essence and Vitamin B3 known to whiten skin and an oxygenated formulation that refreshes and cleanses without drying the skin due to locking in the natural moisture. 

Through its mild formulation, the new Pond's cleansing gel is suitable for sensitive skin. It has a combination of milder actives compared to other facial formats. From its mildness, it easily allows essential properties to be dissolved faster and effectively into the skin. The oxygenated form removes dirt but does not include the natural moisture on skin. This breakthrough makes it suitable for people with sensitive skin.

Comparison of Pond's Cleansing Gel and other Facial Wash from the result of Zein soap test. 

As you can see on the photo that I shared  above, consider the Zein paper as your skin and after it was soaked both on the facial wash, the Pond's Gel (Clear) maintained its shape while the other facial wash has broken down the Zein paper. The usual facial wash has harsh properties that breaks down normal lipids of skin. Hence, making the skin drier.

How To Use: Wet your face, put a small amount on your hand, create lather and gently massage onto face then rinse off. In case in contact with eyes, rinse with water immediately. Store away from direct sunlight and heat.
