PRODUCT REVIEW: EVER BILENA'S CANDLELIGHT GLOW OUT HIGHLIGHTER

During the Project Vanity and BDJ's Beauty Bootcamp, Ever Bilena was on sale. I wanted to get my hands on their advanced collection for glow out highlighters. My first choice is the Strobe but unfortunately it was out of stock. I even smiled sweetly if I could buy their tester (together with the Candlelight) since it was just swatched but to no avail! My smile was not effective. Kidding aside, I happily settled for the Candlelight.

Ever since I tried it in their launch last year for the upcoming Advance lines, I was not able to forget about it. Just look at my first swatch last year, the pigment of the highlighters were just amazing!

Anyway, let us now review it more closely.

The packaging is the usual white cases of Ever Bilena but you can easily see the color of the highlighter because of its clear top cover. It does not come with any mirror nor brush but it was fine with me.

Brand: Ever Bilena

Weight: 5g

Shade: Candlelight

Product Description:

Ingredients:

Pros:

Affordable! The regular price is 299php but it has an introductory price of 199php. I was able to buy it for only less than 199php during the event I think because it has an additional sale price.

The packaging and the bottom of the product have complete details about the products including the manufacturing date and ingredients.

The shade Canglelight is dashingly gold! It was like it was scraped off from a gold bar. I was expecting it to be too glittery when applied on my skin but it was not. It was shimmery but not glittery and that is how I like to wear my highlighters.

The Candlelight lasted around three to four hours to me. So I usually bring this with me for touch-ups.

If you will base on my photo  below, my skin looked more tan with the use of this highlighter but if you will see me personally, it still looks nice. However I think, I will rock the shade Strobe better.

Cons:

The texture of the powder is a little dry so expect some excess dust. Since it is a little dry, I noticed that it can be removed easily and does not last as long compared to pressed powders or cream highlighters.

SWATCH:

Buy it again? 80% (I want to try the Strobe first.)

Overall Rating: 4/5

Price: 299php (or 199php while it is still on introductory price)

Where to buy? Ever Bilena stores or Lazada.

I hope I could buy the Strobe shade soon and post my review about it here on my blog too! :)
