Looking for a matte foundation that does not make your skin dry is hard. Usually it is either dewy and oily or matte and dry. It is rare to get a good combination! With Maybelline's Dream Velvet Soft Matte Hydrating Foundation, you can get the matte and yet a little dewy all in the same product.

Pros:

The foundation was packed as a tube that makes it easier to control the product to be dispensed.

The formula is smooth and thick but still easily blended. It gives a medium to full coverage which is great! My pores looked smaller and the foundation was able to even out my skin. Even though it has a thick and creamy formula, it still feels light on my face.

For something that can give a full coverage, it looks sheer on my skin. I love the radiant look that it gives even though it has a semi-matte finish. It did not cake on my skin.

For people who wants their makeups fragrance-free, you will love this foundation!

The foundation lasts for 4 to 6 hours.

Cons:

If you have oily skin, the dewy look that the foundation looks when applied may enhance the shiny look of the skin.

For a liquid foundation, it transfers easily. Make sure to have a blotting paper or tissue. To prevent this, you can also set your makeup with spray or powder.

No SPF protection.

Shades are limited.
