PRODUCT REVIEW: OLAY'S TOTAL EFFECTS 7 IN 1 PORE MINIMIZING CC CREAM WITH SUNSCREEN IN LIGHT AND MEDIUM SHADES

Usually I use BB creams or CC creams for my night shifts and day outs that is not an important day. It is because BB creams or CC creams are not meant to last. Although they are healthier to use compared to foundations.

There are two kinds of CC Cream from Olay. The Total Effects and the White Radiance. I got the two available shades for Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 CC Cream from Sample Room.

I got the two shades available: Light and Medium. The good things is that it has a sunscreen protection and the down side is that there are only two shades available. In other countries, the shades are in variants like light-medium, fair-light and medium-deep.

Now let me share my thoughts on this.

SWATCH:

Olay Light CC Cream Pros and Cons:

Pros: Upon using this Light CC Cream from Olay, I noticed the immediate glow on my skin. My dark under eyes also lessened. The uneven colors on my skin also evened out. The pores on my skin diminished. The CC Cream looks natural on my skin that is great for everyday use. The CC Cream also smells good.  The lines on my forehead decreased with the use of the CC Cream.

It feels light on my face. No waiting time needed to set on skin. It has a sunscreen protection of SPF 15.

Cons: It does not provide good coverage. I got greasy after a few hours of use. So I need to bring it with me for retouch. It does not last long even when I set it up with a powder.

Olay Medium CC Cream Pros and Cons:

Pros: Compared to the Light CC Cream, this does look like I did not put anything on my face. It is more of my shade. You can also notice on my photo below that my skin looked more radiant with the Medium CC Cream. This has a more dewy effect on me compared to the Light CC Cream.

I did not have to wait for it to set on my skin. Also it feels light on skin. It has an SPF 15 protection.

Cons: It does not provide good coverage. It did not cover my dark under eyes compared with the Light CC Cream.  It did not last long and I my skin became greasy after a few hours. My skin is more oily with the use of the Medium CC Cream compared to the Light shade.

Buy again? 80% (Just because it makes me oily, the 20% makes me hesitant in buying again.) Both shades can work on me. But my skin is less oily with the Light shade so I may have to buy the light shade again.

Overall Rating: 4/5

Price: 499php (50g = 999php)
