PRODUCT REVIEW: MAYBELLINE'S SUPER STAY MATTE IN SHADE RULER
During Maybelline's sale at Shopee a few months ago, I bought three shades of Super Stay Matte Lipsticks because they are great to use for work - for its long lasting features. The first shade that I bought and I must say a must-have is the color Ruler.
The lipstick name Ruler actually fits the shade because for me, (for the current 8 shades that I own) this one is the best color. It is a shade that is easy to wear in any occasion. It is a red shade in color (like marsala or cherry) that also kind of looks pink but still subtle.
To give you why this one is the best shade for me, let us go into the details.

Pros:
I already mentioned above that this is the best shade for me. Simply because it is. The color has an impact for me whenever I wear it, compared to the other shades.
The second reason that I love it is because it actually stays on my lips even with heavy eating! I can even dare myself not to bring it along with me because I did not feel the need to retouch at all. At work, I tried eating barbeque, french fries, burger - still the lipstick is intact! Amazing! :)
The applicator is doe foot so it is easy to use and precise.
The lipstick did not accentuate my lip lines as much as the other matte lipsticks. Dry or flaky patches on my lips were not highlighted. It also transfer-proof. Since it is meant to stay long, it is hard to remove with regular makeup removers. I use the Maybelline Lipstick Remover for this one - and it is easy breezy!
As expected from a matte lipstick, of course it does not hydrate my lips but it did not cause any additional dryness either. Still, as an after care, make sure to moisturize your lips so that it will look even way better when you apply a lipstick on.
Cons: None noted.
