PRODUCT REVIEW: URBAN DECAY'S ANTI-AGING EYESHADOW PRIMER POTION
Last January 2017, I received my very first eye primer from my sister. She bought this Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion for me in partner to my Urban Decay Naked 3some Vault. At first, I am not sure if there will be a difference if I use one because most eye shadows lasts long on me but the beauty blogger inside me wanted to try it as soon as possible!
Why anti-aging though among other Urban Decay Primer Potions? I am nearing 30 and I am already stressing over the fact that age is not on my side now. I am doing everything that I can to maintain at least a little of my youth. No harm can be done if I started using anti-aging products, right?
Anyway, this Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion has anti-aging skincare benefits infused in its creamy formula. It is a primer and skincare product in one. However, in terms of an eyeshadow primer, is it effective? Let us find out!

I love that it has a anti-aging skincare benefits because I am nearing 30 and there is no harm in starting using anti-aging products, right? I might thank myself for that later on.
The primer is smooth and has a powder-like texture that glides smoothly over my lids. According to Urban Decay, it neutralizes redness, treat fine lines, blurs imperfections, and creates a flawless even canvas so that your eyeshadow can adhere well and last for at least 24 hours of wear.
In my experience, I love its smooth and powder-like texture. It was able to prepare my lids' skin before I apply the eyeshadow. I noticed that the eyeshadow's colors are brighter when applied over the primer. Also, the chalky mess was lessened. The lines also lessened, you can check it out on my swatch below.
Naturally, eyeshadow lasts long to me but with this primer, it remains more intact and brighter much longer. The usual 8 hours without primer that my eyeshadow shows signs of fading was improved with the use of the primer. It now lasts longer for at least 12 hours before it showed signs of fading.
Before I had this primer, I use regular face primers for my eyes too but this works better compared to regular face primers.
The tube has a slim and small opening that it is easy to control the dispense of the product.
Cons:
I do not know if it is because of the weather here in the Philippines or if I scratch my eyes too much but the eyeshadow does not last up to 24 hours even with the use of this Urban Decay Primer. For their claim that it will make your eyeshadow last up to 24 hours, I don't think so.
Believe me when it comes to testing of lasting hours on each product that I use because my work requires me to be up and about for more than 16 hours a day. I can safely say that my eyeshadow only lasted for 12 hours before it started fading even with the use of this primer.

Buy again? 100% (For a makeup junkie like me, I will buy it again because I use eyeshadow everyday and I love to make it look more brighter and last longer.)
