MY EXPERIENCE AT MERKANTO STREET - INTERNATIONAL STREET FOOD

One of the things that me and my colleagues at work enjoy doing is trying out food parks and the first one that we visited is the Merkanto Street: International Street Food located at 38 Mayaman St., U.P. Village, Diliman Quezon City, Philippines. This food park is interesting because you will feel like you just traveled because you can try out 9 types of cuisines from different countries in just one street.

This store opens in the afternoon at around 5 to 6PM and outside the food park is a car wash service. If you want to have your car washed, you can stay and enjoy eating at the food park while waiting for your car to be clean.

The budget needed for one person is at least 200php to 500php depending on what type of food you want to try out.

We came a little early so most of the food stores are still closed. I will be sharing the menu of the stores that are open and the food find that I tried.

I like the Coxinha from Brazil. Its like a croquet that goes well with its toppings.

The USDA Beef Churrasco is a must try! Its meat is tender and savory. I also love the additional silantro sauce into it. I really recommend this dish.

There is also a Korean inspired food offered at Merkanto. My friends ordered the stew and they say that it has a hint of spices. For me, we tried the Korean Pancake Pizza.

Will I come back? I might specially if I crave that USDA Beef Churrasco but I would love to try the other food parks as well.

That is all for this post, if you want to follow Mercanto, you can follow them on Instagram at @merkantoph.
