PRODUCT REVIEW: MAYBELLINE VIVID MATTE LIPSTICKS (SHADES 5, 6, 7, 8 AND 13)
I agree to the saying "There's no such thing as having too many lipsticks!" because it is the one thing that I never get tired from collecting. Whenever I see a new shade and cute packaging...I cannot stay away! I am already considering it as an addiction. LOL. Kidding aside, I find joy just by looking at them and deciding what I want to wear each day! Wearing a lipstick is like empowering yourself, don't you think so?
I enjoyed playing around with the new shades of Maybelline's Color Sensational Vivid Mattes. It has the shades of pink, plum and red! What else could I ask for? It already has every girl's dream of lipstick shades worth collecting!
I already shared a quick write-up about this new collection and as well as its swatches. (Read about it here.) Today, I will now share my thoughts on each lipstick as well as how it looks like when I am wearing it!

Let us start with Vivid Matte in Number 5! (Just because it is the number of my birthday...^_^)
VIVID MATTE 5
The Vivid Matte 5 is the darkest shade from this batch. This color is wine red! It may look dark but the color is wearable in daylight.
VIVID MATTE 6
The Vivid Matte 6 is pink but its intensity looks more fuchsia. This color is perfect for everyday use!
VIVID MATTE 7
Are you a fan of Snow White? This shade of Vivid Matte 7 reminds me of her lips. The color of this lipstick is red all the way! The great thing is that it is wearable even in daylight!
VIVID MATTE 8
The Vivid Matte 8 is a shade of Plum. It may look dark when you look at the lipstick but its wearable.
VIVID MATTE 13
How about Barbie? Do you fancy her cute kissable pink lips? Maybelline got it right with this lipstick shade! Its baby pink!
Pros:
The quality of the lipstick is superb! I can compare its texture to the high-end lipsticks that I use and to think this is way more affordable. All the colors are very wearable may it be day or night.
One layer is enough to color the lips since it is highly pigmented. The texture and consistency is smooth and easy to glide on my lips even though it is matte.
This matte lipsticks are non-drying to lips. The color lasts long on my lips for at least 4 to 5 hours without re-touching and it leaves an even light stain after fully removed. The lipstick is not completely removed after eating or drinking. All the other shades does not settle on lip lines except the Vivid Matte 13.
Cons:
It is not transfer-free.
