Burt's Bees: Lip Shimmers in Fig, Caramel and Watermelon

PRODUCT REVIEW: BURT'S BEES LIP SHIMMERS IN FIG, CARAMEL AND WATERMELON

Others may take it for granted but lip balms is very important in our daily routine specially if we love wearing lipsticks every day like I do. There are times though that I do not want to wear a lipstick but I still wanted to have a tinted lip balm so I will not look pale.

Burt's Bees solved my problem. They released a line of Lip Shimmers, it is a tinted lip balms! There are 14 shades available but I only got three of them from Sample Room. The colors that I got are Fig, Caramel and Watermelon.

I love using Burt's Bees products because they are effective and gentle on my skin or now for my lips. All the Burt's Bees Lip shimmers contains shea butter, Vitamin E and anti-oxidant rich Fruit oils that nourishes and softens my lips. Let me now share with you my thoughts on the three lip shimmers that I got.

FIG

Even though the Fig looks a dark shade, it is still sheer and yet enough to give color to the lips. It has a natural looking shade that can be worn by any skin tone. For me, it is a combination shade of red and brown.

WATERMELON

This one has a light pinkish shade, perfect for light colored skin tone, I am sure this will look perfect on their complexion. Still, this shade can still pass for any skin tone.

CARAMEL

The Caramel is a light brown shade tinted lip balm. It is a nude shade and the most sheer color that I got from the three.

Pros:

It contains an all natural ingredients. It may be expensive but if you wanted a safe product specially for those who has a sensitive reactions to cosmetics, this product is good for you.

There are a lot of shades available you can choose from. The peppermint fragrance and cool effect of the lip balm calms me so I enjoy using it.

It moisturizes my lips. I can taste the flavors of the lip shimmers but it is not that strong. The lip balm is small and handy, easy to fit inside your purse or pocket.

Cons:

A little expensive for a lip balm. It does moisturize my lips but it does not last long so frequent application is still needed.
