MAC: Kinda Sexy

PRODUCT REVIEW: MAC'S KINDA SEXY

Together with my Chanel Allure Velvet lipsticks, my boyfriend included MAC's Kinda Sexy as part of his gifts. This shade is hard to find in Trinoma and SM City North Branch and he knows that I look for it. Fortunately there's one in Shangri-La Rustan's. Now I have one for myself too! Yay!

Kinda Sexy is a MAC Pro lipstick. It is famously being used by celebrities because of its neutral pinkish shade. It can be worn in any occasion and everyday. It is also one of the best selling shades. If I remember it correctly, Kim Kardashian uses this shade too besides Creme D' Nude.

The shade reminds me of Enchanted One Limited Edition from Alluring Aqua, I am glad to find one on permanent shades. For my complete review, continue reading.

If you need a matte nude lipstick in your stash, this is an awesome choice. The shade does not look as pale as other nudes because it has a pinkish rose undertone. I think this shade can work on everyone because of its neutral look, it is a little darker than other nude lipsticks.

For a matte finish, it does not tug on lips and it glides on smoothly. It does not transfer easily on fabrics and utensils. It is highly pigmented and one layer is enough to fully color the lips.

Cons:

Since it is matte, it is drying to the lips. Frequent use of lipbalm after use is needed to get your lips smooth again. I suggest that you scrub your lips first before using this because it settles on patches of dry skin on my lips. It does not leave stain on lips.

Kinda Sexy is hard to find on MAC stores because it is a MAC Pro shade and it is not available in all stores.
