PRODUCT REVIEW: CREAM SILK CONDITIONERS
Thank God for my Saladbox subscription that I was able to collect all the conditioners of Cream Silk. Before, I used to only buy the Stand Out Straight from them. I never tried the others. Through Saladbox I now have the opportunity to try all of it.
In celebration of Saladbox turning two years, they partnered with Cream Silk for a beauty "beyond beautiful". Besides the conditioner, they are generous to give me one month subscription for free in and they added it to the end of my one year subscription. Saladbox also gave me a Personal Hairstyling Workshop that is supposed to be on October 25, 2014 but it was moved to November 29, 2014. The fee for the workshop is 1,500php and you can purchase tickets at Saladbox if you want to attend it.
Back to the conditioners, Cream Silk is famous for their brand ambassadors Toni Gonzaga and Heart Evangelista, The commercials theme is to "Discover Hair Reborn" with their Hair Reborn Technology as popularized by Toni Gonzaga.
What conditioners did I got? I have the Dry Rescue, Standout Straight, Hair Fall Defense and Damage Control. There is not much difference about the conditioners as they are all have the same effects on my hair to make it smooth and shiny. For me, you can use whatever you want and just focus on what you need most. Each item has the same weight and packaging. One conditioner weighs 180ml and costs 137php. It can all be used everyday for routine. All the conditioners should be used after rinsing off of shampoo. Gently massage the conditioner through the ends of the hair, leave it for a few minutes then rinse thoroughly. They are all available in any department stores and supermarkets as well as drug stores.
DRY RESCUE
Product Description: Dry Rescue controls frizzy, rebellious hair and moisturizes dry hair for long lasting smoothness. With its power of more intense nourishment for softer, smoother and frizz-controlled hair.
Pros:
> It has two colors inside in stripes. The pink one is for treatment with Vita-boost complex that penetrates hair deep inside to nourish from within and rescue dry hair while the white stripe is for softer and less prone to frizz by intense moisturizing of dry strands and rebellious hair.
> It has a fruity-like scent
> My hair is chemically colored and most of the time it is dry and easy to break, my hair became more hydrated without being too oily with this conditioner
Cons:
> The scent is too fruity for me, others may prefer it though. I am just not a fan of fruity scents

STANDOUT STRAIGHT

Pros:
> I used to buy this before but the previous conditioners that I bought only has one color and it is white. Now, it is two - a pink and white. The pink stripe is treatment with Vita-Boost Complex that penetrates hair deep inside to nourish from within and gives softer and smoother hair. The white stripe makes hair softer and gives it a straighter look by smoothing hair strands and relaxing natural waves and frizz.
> The fragrance of the conditioner reminds me of candies or sweets but not too strong. This scent is my favorite to all the fragrance of the four conditioners
> My hair is smooth and manageable and is not wavy for the months that I had been using this, I am so glad my stock was replenished through Saladbox
Cons:
> My hair sometimes becomes too oily after a whole day

Pros:

The white stripe makes hair softer and less prone to damage by intensively repairing affected areas and protecting it from heat, styling to prevent hair damage
> This is a great conditioner specially if you always style your hair. It adds protection and repairs damage.
> I did not notice any effect on my hair aside from being softer and smoother and a little shiny. But I do not do styling on my hair so I think this product can be observed by people who always use styling products and tools
Cons:
> It has a musky scent that reminds me of body lotions
