PRODUCT REVIEW: MAYBELLINE'S STROBING STICK IN NUDE

A blooming makeup look will not be complete if a strobing technique is not added. A highlighted bony areas in our face gives a brighter look. One of my favorites to use is Maybelline's Strobing Stick.

Instead of the usual creams or powders, this strobing formula is in stick. The strobing stick when used with a contouring formula, completes a full dimensional look for your face.

Pros:

I love that the strobing formula comes in a stick - it makes it super easy to use! Just glide it into your skin and blend it with a brush or just by using your fingers!

When applied, it gives a natural and glowing look. (If you are looking for a highlighter that can blind one's eyes, this highlighter may not work for you.) I prefer to use this everyday because the glow is just natural and shimmery, not glittery. It can be used to build up for more pigmentation with application of several layers if you wanted to add more glow.

For a cream-like texture, it does not feel sticky to skin. Since the formula is in stick and I can control the application better, this tube will last longer than most creams or powders. The stick is easy to glide on skin, no tugging experienced.

Lightweight and easy to bring along in my travel kit!

Cons:

I noticed that the shimmering look does not last long. It survived for at least two to three hours before I felt the need to re-touch. When I apply it over with a full makeup on, it lasts at least up to 4 hours, still not that long.
