PRODUCT REVIEW: MAYBELLINE'S COLOR SHOW CHIC PEACH 302

Did I tell you I love nude lipsticks? I think I already said that many times already whenever I post a review for lip colors. I like nude lipsticks simply because my makeup looks natural, just the way I like it.

I got this Maybelline Color Show in Chic Peach as a gift from Maybelline last March 2015 in their event at SM North Atrium. It was just recently though that I opened and tested it after my MAC Runway Hit hit the bottom of the stick. I needed a new nude lipstick and I'm glad I have this on my stash!

Now let us get it on with my review!

Brand: Maybelline

Line: Color Show

Type: Sheer and Creamy Lipstick

Shade:

Weight: 3.9g

Product Description: (From Luxola, I cannot find a description from Maybelline's website) Going for a nude shade that exudes class? Grab a tube of Chic Peach. Complete with a subtle orange tone, this colour is perfect for girls with warm skin tones. Swipe it on if you want a pretty colour with sheer coverage. The delicate shimmer is just a lovely bonus.

Ingredients:

Pros:
> The nude color has a peach undertone shade, it will compliment people with warm undertones
> Glides on lips smoothly
> Using this kept my lips moisturized than dry
> One layer is enough to color my lips
> Leaves glossy stain on lips. The color disappears but the shimmer remains.
> Lasts up to 6 hours without retouch
> Applies evenly on lips

Cons:
> Too shimmery
> Feels warm on my lips
> Transfers on fabrics, straws or glass when I tried drinking
> May not cover dark pigmented lips
> Builds up on dry part of the lips and some lip lines

SWATCH:

  1. The shade looks good on you! I doubt though if I can pull off a shade like this as I might look anemic (well I already am, BTW. Haha)
