PRODUCT REVIEW: CHANEL'S ROUGE ALLURE VELVET LA FASCINANTE (38)

My first Chanel Lipstick I received was from my boyfriend from our 10 years anniversary, this year I received another one for our 13 years anniversary. Even though I love this line from Chanel, I cannot buy it because it is insanely expensive! It seems that all my Chanel Lipsticks are from my boyfriend...LOL but I am not complaining though!

From my favorite line Rouge Allure Velvet, this is the matte version of Chanel.

There is something with the case and shape of the Chanel Lipstick that makes it look prestige. Do you agree?

Pros:

One swipe of the lipstick is enough to be opaque. Even though the lipstick is matte, it is easy and smooth to slide over my lips.

The lipstick lasts long and cannot be fully removed with light eating. It becomes a little uneven after eating a heavy meal.

The redness of the lipstick shade is unique, classic and elegant! Specially when worn. This lipstick can be worn by any skin tone. It is very versatile.

I find the shade unique because it is red but at the same time sometimes it looks pinkish. Anyway, I love how it looks! So I do not really care now. LOL. From the word fascinante, it means fascinating!

It leaves an even stain after removal.

The lipstick actually contains more product compared to other lip products (like MAC), this one weighs 3.5g while MAC weighs 3g.

The Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet La Fascinante did not build on the lip lines nor settled on the dry patches of my lips! Yay!!!

Cons:

It bleeds a little outside the lip's edge.

The lipstick is not transfer-free.

Very expensive. During our 10 years anniversary, my boyfriend bought my first Chanel Lipstick for only 1650php. Three years later which is this year, it already costs 2250php!!!
