Althea: Petal Velvet Powder

PRODUCT REVIEW: ALTHEA KOREA'S PETAL VELVET POWDER

Althea Korea is my favorite online shop and I am glad to discover that they now released their very first product line called Petal Velvet Powder! There are a lot of reasons to love Althea Korea Online Store and having their own product line will definitely add up to the list of reasons on why I enjoy shopping in their online store. Imagine the possibilities of more makeup line or skincare product from their company...sigh...I cannot wait!

Anyway, the Althea Petal Velvet Powder is a translucent powder that smells so good just like flowers! The texture of the powder is also velvet-like and silky. (Hence, its name of Petal Velvet Powder.) This powder was designed to act as a setting powder to your makeup, adding up a radiant look.

I am lucky enough to receive this product for testing before it was officially launched at Althea. It came in the right moment because I just emptied my container of my everyday setting powder. So, shall I share my experience now?

Pros:

The powder was infused with Althea seeds extract that helps skin stay hydrated with minimal oil with sun protection and anti-aging capabilities. It keeps the oil in our skin controlled, delivering a naturally radiant look but still shine-free. For me, it was able to make my makeup matte. (My skin is dry to combination so take note that this was my experience.

The powder feels light on skin which is great and it has a silky, purely refined texture. The powder has no coverage but it was able to cover some pores making my skin looked smoother.

The packaging is small and cute. I can bring it easily!

Plus, it comes with a soft puff! Yay!

Since the powder is translucent, any skin tone can use this loose powder! No hassle in choosing the right shade for your skin.

The powder even though it looks so white, blended easily into my skin and was immediately absorbed.

Have I told you I love anything that smells floral? Of course, I would love this powder so much more because of its flowery scent. \

Last, this powder makes my skin looked radiant and glowing!

I am surprised that it was very affordable for only 210php! Small amount of powder is needed for the whole face so this small jar will last a long way.

Cons:

If you are looking for a bigger size, this one comes only in 3g.
