Whenever I use this lipstick, I do not feel like it is Smoking Red instead it feels like smoking hot. LOL. I love how rich and pure the redness of this Maybelline's Loaded Bolds in Smoking Red! This red lipstick is so Hollywood-ready! I am not sure about the others but when I try a red lipstick, I am always excited and to find out that I got a good one, I am over the moon. Maybelline's Smoking Red is burgundy red and it is highly pigmented that one swipe over the lips is enough to make it pop with color. The finish was supposed to be matte but I feel like it is satin at first then after a few hours, it is the time that it turns matte. Still, it has a creamy formula that it is easy to glide smoothly over the lips. No lip tugging experienced.

The redness is so deep that it will make you look classy and yet bold at the same time. My complexion looked whiter whenever I use this lipstick.

The lasting power is great. No re-touch needed for 8 hours even with consumption of food. My lipstick remained intact after eating. The lipstick does not settle on lip lines or dry patches of my lips. After removal, it leaves an even light red tint.

Affordable for only 299php! The price is worth it because the quality of the lipstick is comparable to high-end brands.

Cons:

The lipstick bleeds a little out of my lip edges. It can be easily prevented with the use of lip liner. It is not transfer-free.
