PRODUCT REVIEW: MiLi's PURE SKIN MOISTURE DETECTOR
Doing skin care review is a major part of my blog and I wanted to improve my reviews by including this cool gadget that I newly discovered. I saw this being used by brands during launches to test the skin's moisture level. This way, I can give you an accurate measurement of how my skin improved by using one product.
I was able to buy this from another blogger for only 900php (brand new) but I think its price in the market is around 1,000php.
At first, I thought that it was a device that does not need a smart phone but I am mistaken. You cannot use it without a smart phone. It will need an App that can be downloaded for free on App Store and Google Play. It works on both Apple and Android devices.
As you can see, the device works through Bluetooth. The MiLi Pure Skin Moisture Detector will connect to the MiLi Pure Skin Moisture App that you downloaded.
The authentic Swarovski Stone will light up once the Bluetooth is turned on. It is the power indicator of the device. Make sure to have your Bluetooth turned on plus the App is open to make the device automatically connect.
The device is small, light-weight and easy to use. The MiLi Pure Skin Moisture Detector can check the moisture level on four areas such as face, eyes, hand and neck.
The box came with a back to back page manual.
The cap needs to be twisted to open. Upon opening, there are two metal balls that will be pressed into the skin. All you have to do to use it is to press down the device onto your skin and wait for the app while it reads the moisture level. Just choose the target area before pressing down the app.
The photo below is how it looks like while it reads the moisture in your skin. Do not remove the press of the device from your skin while its reading. The reading time will only take at least 5 to 10 seconds.
You can do a regular monitoring of your skin everyday and the App can record the data for you. Also, you will be able to see a graph of your skin's moisture.
I did not use any skin regimen (except for facial wash and makeup for one week before using this) to get the baseline moisture of my skin. In the initial reading of my face's moisture, it is 38.6%. It is within average and still the MiLi advises me to hydrate my skin more. Amazing, right?
The only problem is that I do not know that if in time the device will not work because I cannot see any port for re-charging or replacement of batteries.
Overall, I am in love with it and I cannot wait to do skin reviews using this device!
That's all for today because I have to go to work! Until my next blog post, have a great week everyone!
