PRODUCT REVIEW: REVLON'S BROW FANTASY IN DARK BROWN

A pencil and brow mascara in one! Revlon is the first brand that I was able to try to have a 2-in-1 tube for my brow necessities.

Revlon's Brow Fantasy have four shades available namely Dark Brown, Light Brown, Brunette and Dark Blonde. I got the Dark Brown from my BDJ Elite Box consisting of Revlon Exclusive items.

I just emptied my Fashion 21 Brow Mascara and I decided to try this next. Before you proceed in reading my review though, I already have a bushy eyebrows and using eyebrow pencils, gel or powders and I still use them to shape, define and tame my eyebrows. Let me now share my review.

Brand: Revlon

Type: Eyebrow Pencil and Gel

Shade: Dark Brown

Weight:

Pencil - 0.31g
Gel - 1.18ml

Product Description: There is no product description on the packaging.

(From Revlon's Website) Your best brows made beautifully simple. The pencil defines and fills in with soft, blendable, natural color. Our sheer tinted gel styles, shades, and sets. Brows have never looked better.

Pros:

Its affordable, why? Because I got two items in one product at the price of one.  The product will expire 6 months from first use, so spending 500+ once every 6 months is not bad.

Both the formula of the pencil and gel does not smudge and both lasts long.

The pencil is the best eyebrow pencil that I tried so far. The color is natural. It colors easily and it is not hard to control. I am happy with the pencil alone.

I was expecting more for the gel though but it seems to just set my brows in place.

The Dark Brown shade looks natural to me.

Cons:

The gel does not really color much, I want to use it instead of the pencil (I find pencils too dark when I use it to fill in the sparse areas of my eyebrows.) to fill in the sparse area on my eyebrows but it does not provide coverage. I do not find any difference when I use this gel. Even though I got this Brow Fantasy brand new, I find the gel a little dry.

Since the product is 2-in-1, the amount of each item is lesser than the usual separate items. Still, this can last up to 6 months.
