PRODUCT REVIEW: BANILA CO.'S IT RADIANT CC CREAM

There is a lot of CC creams in the market and this is the fourth CC Cream that I was able to try. (For my other reviews of CC creams, click the brand: Olay, Farmstay and Avon) So far, I love the Primer and Clean It Zero from the brand Banila Co. and this time, I will be sharing my experience with their It Radiant CC Cream.

CC Creams are design to correct color and the CC actually stands for "Color Correction". So it is entirely different from BB Creams which are designed for blemish control. So that for your next buy, you can choose what is more needed by your skin. Both CC and BB Creams though can work also as a makeup base.

I got this CC Cream from Banila Co.'s launch last year and it was just recently that I was able to test it. I am now sharing my experience on this blog post.

Brand: Banila Co.

How To Use: Apply the CC Cream after cleansing your face. A small pump of the product is enough to apply on whole face, may be used with fingers, brush or sponge.

Pros:

First, I liked the design of the tube, it has a pump! Usual BB or CC Creams are plain tubes. Since this one has a pump, it is easier to control the amount of cream needed and it is easier to clean.

The cream is very light when I applied it into my skin, it is like a primer because the consistency is thin and the color is sheer when applied on face. The texture is soft and silky since it is water based, it reminded me of a moisturizer. It also feels like a moisturizer when I used it, it feels light on my face.

It is easy to spread and blend on skin and it does not need waiting time to be absorbed well. Other CC creams that I was able to use looks too white on my skin until fully absorbed. It does not take time to adjust to your skin tone.

This CC Cream differs from others because it gives a natural glowing look that brightens my complexion. My skin looked fresh and smooth when I use this. It can work as a great makeup base if I wanted to have that dewy look.

The CC Cream did not make my skin felt greasy even after a long day. The CC Cream has an SPF 30 broad spectrum protection.

Cons:

Minimal coverage. Blemishes are still as visible like on naked skin. (I suggest that you use this first then apply your BB Cream after, its a great combination.)

I am not fan of the scent, it smells like a strong skincare product or sunblock.

No shades to choose from, however as I experienced it, the CC cream does not need variety of colors because it adjusted on my skin tone well.

The CC Cream does not last long, I needed to apply it again after 3 to 4 hours.

It is a little expensive compared to other CC Creams.

SWATCH:

Buy again? 100%

So far even with the minimal coverage, it is the best CC Cream that I tried and I definitely recommend it.
