PRODUCT REVIEW: TORY BURCH'S SMACK DAB

I own a few pieces of Tory Burch bags and shoes and I love their style. Ever since they released their own lipsticks, I always dreamed of owning at least one just to try it. I got the chance when Beautymnl is on sale, I used the LAUREENUY coupon to get a 300php off. I got this Tory Burch Lipstick for only 1400php including shipping fee instead of 1700php. Shipping fee is 50php.

Ever since I saw the Tory Burch Lipsticks online, I always wanted one. Now, I am happy to have one and I am now sharing my thoughts with you my readers! There are only few shades left and I chose the Smack Dab because it is the darkest shade left available.

I love the style that Tory Burch made with their logo on the tip of the lipstick but after a few swipes, the logo is already gone. The packaging is also nice with its gold carvings. It makes it really look classy and sophisticated.

Pros:

The Tory Burch Lipstick smells so good! So far, it is the best smelling lipstick that I tried. It has a light fruity scent that makes me want to put the lipstick again and again. According to Tory Burch, it contains cassis, grapefruit and mandarin to make it smell sweet.

The texture is creamy that makes it moisturizing to lips. The color is bright but the shade has an orange-like undertone. It does not settle on lip lines.

It cannot be easily removed with light eating or drinking. When I removed the lipstick completely, it left an even light pinkish stain.

Cons:

The lipstick is very sheer that I need to apply at least four layers to reach the opaqueness that I wanted. I also wish that the logo will not disappear or it was located at the side of the lipstick instead of the tip because after one use of the lipstick, the logo was easily erased.
