PRODUCT REVIEW: MAC'S TRUE LOVE'S KISS
My sister bought plenty of this shade because of two reasons: first it is her favorite Disney Villain character and the second reason is that she loves MAC lipstick specially the red shades. I am so happy when she handed one of her stock for me. She graciously shared it to me so that I will have another red shade of my own besides the MAC Ruby Woo that I bought recently. She said I should start collecting red colors now because I decided to start using it.
True Love's Kiss is a limited edition released in time with the movie, Maleficent. Just looking at the box makes me sigh, the name Maleficent is engraved in shiny silver making it more magical. The case of the lipstick is pure black with just the word Maleficent on it, the cap does not have the usual MAC label on it though. The casing is as black as Maleficent's dress.

Pros:
The shade is very bright that I was afraid it will not suit my warm undertone but it still worked for me. The lipstick is easy to glide on lips and it is so creamy that it feels smooth upon application. No lip tugging experienced at all. It is highly pigmented but it is sheer and if you will look closely, my lips are not yet fully covered for a one layer of lipstick. (Check my swatch below)
There is an uneven stain left behind after removal. It lasts for 3 to 4 hours. It has a glossy look so if you want a glossy looking lips, this will be perfect for you because no need to use an additional lip gloss. It feels moisturizing for my lips.
Cons:
The shade is highly pigmented but sheer, needs a few layers to achieve a fully colored lips. It easily transfers on fabric and utensils. It is also easily removed when eating.

What do you think of the shade? It is very bright red, isn't it? It is glossy too! It feels moisturizing on my lips, too bad it is a limited edition shade so no chance to hoard it.
