PRODUCT REVIEW: MAC'S RIRI WOO (RIRI HEARTS)
A girl can never have enough red lipsticks, who agrees? However, for this lipstick, I gave it to my sister, I just borrowed it to review it too. It is the same as my review of Riri Woo (Riri Hearts Holiday Edition) and the packaging is the only thing that makes it different. For the review of Riri Woo Holiday Edition, read it here.
This shade is very similar to Ruby Woo but I like this better because of the texture even though they are the same Retro Matte. For the review of Ruby Woo which is the closest you can get for Riri Woo, read it here. Anyway, without further fuss, read my complete review below.
Type: Retro Matte
Shade: Riri Woo (Riri Hearts)
Product Description: (From Temptalia) Matte Cool Red
The color is very opaque that one glide of the lipstick is enough to fully color the lips. It lasts long for at least 4 to 6 hours. It did not feather out of the lips.
The Riri Woo (Riri Hearts) edition is a limited shade and it may be impossible to find one again even from online re-sellers. It settles on lip lines and dry patches of my lips.
I suggest that you scrub your lips first before applying this lipstick. It tugs a little on lips but not as extreme as the Ruby Woo. Also, this lipstick can be really drying so I suggest you frequently moisturize your lips when using this.
Buy again? 100%
Overall Rating: 4/5
Where to buy? I bought it directly from MAC but it is a limited edition so it is hard to find a re-seller who still sells this shade.
PRODUCT REVIEW: MAC'S RIRI WOO LIPGLASS
In partner with the lipstick, there is a limited edition too that my sister bought to pair with her Riri Woo. It is a Riri Woo in Lipglass.
Basically, it looks as red as the matte lipstick although the texture is the exact opposite. It looks good to top it on Riri Woo Lipstick.
Shade: Riri Woo
Product Description: (From Temptalia) Cool Red Cream
I love that the gloss it the most red I think I saw and swatched in my life. The color is very opaque. It fills the lip lines in my lips that makes my lips look smoother and fuller. It leaves a little even stain and it did not made my lips dry.
As much as possible I do not use lip gloss because like this Riri Woo lipglass, it feels thick and warm on lips. It looks nice but I am not comfortable wearing it. This lip glass needs to be on top of other lipstick because if not, it tends to feather out of the lip line. Also, lip liner is important to prevent bleeding out of the lip gloss.
Buy again? 50% (I am not a fan of lip gloss)
Overall Rating: 3/5
Price: $16,50 (Bought by my sister in US)
Where to buy? It is limited edition and hard to find. Try to look for online re-sellers.
What does it look like when I combine the Riri Woo Lipstick and Riri Woo Lipglass? Check it out below, they look way better when combined.
